Hello from Aylesbury!

[Ian The Poet]

Hi I'm Aylesbury born and bred lad. Educated at three of the local schools, one of which does not exists anymore. Since 1977 I have worked Stoke Mandeville Hospital, and the last ten years as a theatre porter. In 1997 I discovered contemporary poetry via Thomas Merton, at a thirty day retreat. From then on was hooked by poetry and started to write some recently it has dried up, and hopefully this forum can rekindle me.
