To me the dark background along with the pictures attached together, it shows unity, and love and struggle as one together, in a dark world. (I made that :o ) [By the way, he had my permission to use a picture that had me in it :) ]

To me that represents two people that have sadnesses and dark thoughts, but love each other, and love is being offered, with the hope the other will feel the same way.

To me, that expresses love, fear and bad self esteem... The person what's to be accepted and loved, but feels they may not be good enough but hopes by expressing that, the person will see and accept them and their love and love them as well.
