Social Instinct
We are part of the great social experiment
A cog in a wheel of a life that has bent
A vicious malicious and judicious test
The bodies are collected and rejected
Hung by the ceilings of the depressed
Yes , my friend somebody is playing a sick joke on us
One so subtle we haven't time to cuss
Confused and Dazed we wonder why there is so much distrust
Every morning we watch anorexic programs on TV
Then we stress ourselves in packed boxes for "work"
O yeah we are ordered about by a 'Boss" who's just a bloody jerk
The carrot is held out for us every day
We are so conditioned and we seem to like it that way
Panic attacks, heart attacks, Stomach attacks
We think we're so industrious and intelligent,
Yet we follow along(blindly)like sheep and mindless hacks
We take most of our holidays on mindless reality TV shows
We make up our food and it is so polluted it often glows.
Obese and tired we try to bring back our health
Going to Gyms that only relieve all our wealth
O yes my friend the joke is on us..cause the story so far
About a bunch of losers drunk and falling down in a bar
They try to escape driving themselves drunk in a car
Yep we are the punchline and that tree on the bend is not far
