Refugee Status ..Denied
Holding the paper in trembling hand
Tears streamed down his face..he screamed despair..
Access Denied..Your status as a Refugee has been denied
You will be deported forthwith to your country of origin.
He thought he and his family were finally safe..
The country he had come to was so beautiful..civilized
Access Denied..Your family and you will be put on a plane and deported
Please attend the summary meeting tomorrow at 10 am.
The pain and suffering they went though, spending every cent they had saved
Now they were on their way back to possible death in a place so depraved
Access Denied.. Unable to prove your Refugee status to our satisfaction
No papers ...no proof ..you and your children lied..
Death awaited his family and there was nothing he could do
Surely this wonderful country could help us ..please could you
