She is so beautiful, I'm besotted with her
she is my first grandchild and my eleventh grandchild - 10 months old
she is my youngest and first grand daughter, my other first grand daughter is the same age as my youngest son (they were in same class at primary school together) - 23 years old

does this sound a tad confusing ???
I inherited 3 children and 10 grand children from the woman in my life. She had her children very early in life, I had mine late ..... so her first grand child was born the same year as my last child.

to confuse things even more, Beattie is the daughter of my oldest child, a son I inherited from the previous woman in my life. I have been blessed by having inherited many children and grand children, by being allowed to share their lives. I have been so lucky!

Oh, yes. She's going through a faze I think, she laughs alot and talks so fast, you can barely catch what she's saying before she runs back to play.. Half the time on the phone it's something about cartoons then comes the "wub, wub, nu nu, byebye" haha. It's my brother's fault, he has her call me aunt Nu NU. haha.

I don't get to see her often but I love if when my brother sends pictures and I get to talk to her on the phone and see her. My brother will be bringing her with him and his wife next month for 2 1/2 days, so I'll get to see her. :)

PS Isis-ra, did you find profesional help for your debilitating obsessions with those insidious things crushed velvet and cheap jewellery? I know from bitter experience that obsessions such as these can consume life leaving one bitter and old before one's time. No one looking at the image of me above would believe I am but 34 year old
