sorry Carolyn
'moggie' ... word from my early childhood in England I suspect. Generic house cat. Can be shades of brown through dark greyish browns but all have the beautiful stripes yours has. Something about their unpretentious beauty has always touched me. Not a breed as such, although I believe a woman out here in Australia has bred from them to create a new breed called 'Australian Mist'. I think one of the newest officially recognised 'Breeds' of cats.
Anyways - love your cat (moggie)

Kevin

PS how do I post piccie of my pets?? Have no idea how to do it

Aggie is just a wee bit massive, an Irish Wolfhound / Scottish Deerhound cross.
she stands 1 m and 4 cm tall (41 inches), but believe it or not she was runt of the litter
her brother - his neck started where Aggie's head finished. Even looking him in the eye, it was hard to believe he was real.

Aggie is the gentlest dog I've ever lived with. For 7 year I've tried to get her to bite the grand kids, just a little nip to keep them respectful. She has always refused. Bugger!

PS what breed are your pups??

Digger, the black and white one walking under her is the size of a medium Alsation. He is not so gentle but is sweet natured. He has eyes like a person, not a beast. And he loves plums. He has his own tree that is fruiting now. Every day he inspects the tree to see if they are ripe. He always does a little happy dance around the tree when he sees how many plums there are, They should be ripe enough for him in about 4 weeks. He will then hate the possums and birds that steal 'his' plums.

Just a wee bit?! my god! My mother would freak if I said I wanted a dog like that!! Actually Roxy would probably freak a little too. Aggie sounds adorable though.. I want to hug her haha.

Digger is like Jasper! he loves.. or loved plums too. and apples. When you gave them to him he'd take it by the stalk and walk around with it dangling around everywhere. It was quite cute. I love Jasper.. I miss him too. He had the most wonderful eyes and I loved how hed always knock me out in his displays of affection haha. I'm still really hopeful that he'll come back.

My dogs are both nearly 2 years old. They're beagles.. purebred but not pedigree.

ah Smorz

how long has Jasper been gone? Don't ever give up hoping, sometimes they can be gone for so very long and still find their way back. Is he one of the Beagles? Or another dog entirely? Did you post an image of Jasper?

Will try now to post a piccie of Digger loving his tree, maybe later. Lightning storm trashed our broadband this afternoon so back on Dial Up. Same thing happened last friday, can take up to 48 hours for Telstra to fix apparently.
Bugger !!!

Just revisited your post and saw Jasper. He is a seriously handsome dog. I do hope he finds his way back to you soon. Sort of looks like he has people eyes like Digger does? Funny how some beasts have people eyes whereas most don't. Of all the beasts I posted, John has the most amazing eyes, perhaps it's a snake thing. I haven't had a lot to do with snakes so I'm not sure on this one. Digger loves apple too, actually Digger is a total guts, only thing he doesn't love is raw onion. He'll even eat lettuce and smile while he eats it.

Digger - his favourite tree (plums)
http://img517.imageshack.us/img517/6791/plumdigger2yy3.jpg

here he is smorz

he walks around the tree on his hind legs eating the plums. When he can't reach any more he jumps up and grabs the branches with his paws or teeth and lets them rebound up. The plums fly off and he eats them off the ground. When he has finally reached all the plums he can, he looks up at the plums he can't reach and cries. This is such a sad thing to witness

I think evolution is a greed driven process, Digger is becoming a bipedal vegetarian.

morning Carolyn, or is that night for you?
It's 7.30 am here at the moment and we're in cloud. Greyed out, can hardly see across the street.
Very mysterious looking

it is sort of cute, but it's also very sad when he cries. He is so in love with his plum tree. (mind you, we have to hold our faces really still so he doesn't realise we're laughing when he does this - he hates being laughed at).

It's 2:34 PM here, Kevin. I don't know what it's like here, rarely leave my door. :shy:

By the way, I wasn't meaning him crying was cute, poor guy. :( I was refering to the picture of him with his facey in the plum tree was cute. I LOVE furbabies (pet/animals). I'd have a heck of a time with your dogs. I had a friend that had 4 dogs, 3 big, one small, they had a hay day when I'd come over, though they almost knocked me down everytime because they were so big and excited, but I didn't care. haha. Maybe I'm odd for liking animals so much. *looks unsure*

It's an Appaloosa breed. He's a solid colour, you'll find they are usually in patterns of spots. Though Alec is a solid colour breed.

Will be a few years before he's able to be broken in and ridden.

Haha, he's small right now.. my girlfriend owns Alec's father, and he's pretty big. Alec is said to grow bigger than him so yeah, he'll be huge.

Alec isn't even a year old yet, plenty more growing left in him hehe.

In the summer his "fur" coat will come off and he'll be jet black.. i can't wait, he'll look stunning.
