Written by a dear friend of mine. I could not stop giggling for ages afterwards.

---

There was a young Grace who was bright,
But had trouble with sleep every night!
While she tossed and she turned,
Over things she had learned,
In the end she decided to write!

There once was a 'muso' called Grace,
Who played piano all over the place.
Just like Room with a View,
(She was very like 'Lu'),
She felt music would give her some space!

A girl, Grace, was a talented wit!
She could argue, debate and not quit!
While she 'starred' at her school,
(and was nobody's fool),
She just wished she could not care a bit!

There was Grace, who was true to her name,
Full of eloquence, fire and flame!
She was always a friend,
And to pets she would tend,
And continue to blitz The Age's word games!

I love the first two limericks, especially and the diamonte is excellent, real opposites pepsi against fruit. Tell your friend we enjoyed her work.

I missed this reply.. oops. Nah, I don't like the crosswords as much as I like the nine letter game. I have never been able to understand the cryptic. It's too cryptic!!!
