Firefox or Google Chrome?

Haven't tried Chrome, but Firefox is great. Loads fast and is swift browsing. I like Flock a lot. It take a little while longer to start up but once open is pretty much the same as Firefox. The thing I like about Flock though is the automatic spellcheck for when your typing. Underlines in red when you misspell like MS Word. Is this a feature on Chrome?

Tragedy for Microsoft they didn't even get a mention. I go Opera, but flock sounds good not heard that one before. I guess this thread should be in general.

That automatic spell check thing is something which Linux has on it. I have Ubuntu on my laptop and it will spell check everything you do, and of course offer the correct spelling for each error it finds.

I use firefox, for both speed and security. You can "hack" firefox to have it faster than what you get when you first install it (use google to search for it, tis quite simple).

As for Gnome, I used it once, had no issue with it really. Though I think it's still far too young to compete with Firefox at the moment.

Firefox is the better Web Browser out there. Tweak the settings a bit and you can make it speed up a bit.

Google Chrome seems very fast but you can tweak Firefox to be pretty fast too, although there are downsides to that. In my opinion firefox makes a better browser because of the numerous plugins and themes and other stuff
