Clothes that down fit in wardrobes, the recycling bin, the barbie, three old tables, two old wardrobes full of shoes, a tumble dryer, the vacuum cleaners, a fridge freezer, a ladder, all the gardening and DIY stuff, cupboards of old books and toys, spare chairs, garden furniture, a mop , buckets....

Well, it's only 3 years old, so it doesn't need any renovations... It's just because I have been working on the other house I have been neglecting this one... It's almost as though someon had picked the house up and gave it a little shake. There are things everywhere. I'm very stressed, just looking at it. So today. I start in one room and work my way around the house...

We're going to need it, considering the house has been on the market since last Friday and we have only had one looker. Mind you the board was just put up in the front yard on Monday and it goes in next weeks paper.

She was keen, as mum lived around the corner and she needed to be close enough to care for her, or vice versa. She is just a newly wed. Very attractive looking girl and so was hubby. But she said she had to go to Turkey for a few weeks and will be back before the auction. We have decided to wait until the auction day and not take any offers before hand. I mean if people are really keen then they will bid for it.

So the lookers are seeing if it they like it before the auction?

Yes... And starting next week there will be open for inspections. That's when they open the house for half an hour and anyone can come through and check it out. (Usually all the neighbours come for a sticky beak) The agent attends and hands out leafleats on the property and also chats to potential buyers

Will there be a minimum starting price or what?

[Maryd.]

Not sure right now... We will have to sit with him and chat to him again. He has put on the paper work, rought $310,000 - $340,000. But we were hoping for more.

Do you need to auction it? Won't the agent take a bigger cut that way?

[Maryd.]

Well we both decided an auction is the way to go... If you sell privately, they try to get the best deal, but if you have numerous people at the auction (I mean if) then it's likely one person will outbid the other, for it. Or it could be a total flop completely... It's sort of a catch 22.

I haven't seen below zero this year yet, but it's a cold winter and I believe it will happen. I get ice on the car and have to water it down in the morning. Usually it's in the garage, but we have some old cupboards from the old house stored in there until the needy pick them up.

True. He lived 17 years. That's pretty old in dog years. I was told that my King Charles, probably won't make it past 9 years as they suffer from heart disorders.
