Actually my birth name is Maria-Rosaria. But I wasn't aware of it until I turned 15 yrs old. Another long story.

In my garden. I see blackbirds, starlings, thrushes, sparrows, tits, the odd robin. I don't like bigger magpies and rooks which can eat the smaller ones

We have a lot of beautiful birds as well, as our neighbours have a lot of trees. The only birds I hate are the crows. They are huge and they attack our cat. Plus we have a budgie in the house.
I'm glad for my children's smiles.

I'm not bad either. I think my son has taken after me. We have encouraged him by taking him to singing lessons for the past 2 years and he is doing really well. It is something I always wanted to do, is sing and act on the stage. Not TV, stage.

Yes, he did all the things he feared and loved every minute of it. He and I both fear heights and he has faced his fears, by doing all the high activities and water activities. He claims they went fishing and he caught 3 flatheads... But was told to put them back in. Which he said he respected. He had such a good time, it was me who stressed.

I joined because Jermac told me about the site. I had mentioned to him, on another site, that I was worried about posting my poetry there as I didn't think I would get constructive criticism, just unkind remarks. Then he told me about this site and now I publish my poems here freely and at times I get constructive criticism, which I can handle and fix, without a feeling of let down.
