View Full Version : Do you listen to critique?

There are two views on this.

1) You can ask for critique, listen to peoples opinions, modify your poem and repost.

2) You can stick with your original, with the thinking that you wouldnt of written it if it wasnt what you were feeling at the time, and hindsight is too biased to alter your work.

Which do you fall under?

You're gonna hate me for this, but I only listen to critique when I feel like it :P

Man, no wonder everyone thinks I might be bi-polar :eek:

I listen to all critique. I might not use all critique, but I do listen to it and give it thought.

I adjust my work if needed....

I never feel that the first draft of a poem is the final. All things can be modified to be greater than they were in the beginning.
