Please please sign this petition to be put forth to Downing street, on 19 th August 2008. **NB. THIS PETITION IS FOR UK CITIZENS/RESIDENTS ONLY**
There are only days left, so I am asking you please to go take a look, please take the two minutes to sign it, this is for all the Injured troops fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan.
As great as Selly Oak Military Hospital is, in Birmingham, we just cannot take the amount of injured personnel that are flooding in. These soldiers deserve a dedicated specialist area and they just aren't receiving the treatment they need from the NHS.
Well we need YOU to help. You the people are the only ones who can make the governments or governing authorities listen. Please think about the benefits of taking some of the stresses off of the already over-stretched NHS.
The NHS cannot cope with this influx of injuries either, and it is making their already difficult lives harder.
We so need this, it is essential that we get a specialized care centre large enough to cope. If we aren't granted this right, so many could be left when needing vital treatments.
So on behalf of all the Injured personnel of the British Armed forces, and as a British Armed forces representative myself,
Thank you so much for your time.
