The low, dull buzz of my PC ....... damn my life is boring .... this won't do at all.

....I'm listening to the sound of an elephant, tromping through the underbush of northern Japan. The villagers sound worried, lots of screaming, but everything is under control, for I can hear the helicopters incoming, with the giant bags of peanuts, ready to feed the rampaging beast into submission. Meanwhile a huge brass band is marching around the appartment, playing "Hitler has only got one ball" whilst a wild sea otter bangs a kipper against a big base drum, in time to the music. As the kipper sings the British National Anthem whilst gargling water and patting his head and rubbing his stomach at the same time. And by the sounds of things, his fins, unable to reach his head or his stomach un-aided, sound all large and floppy, therefore I can only take a guess at the fact that the kipper is wearing large foam hands. Purchased from an angry fisherman, who is shouting and balling at the fact that the sea otters are stealing all the kippers, therefore he has to make a living selling large novelty foam hands.

.....*nods* that should do it

Impressive. I dont know why you dont write poetry, your imagination and use of language is so precise, with your sharp humour and intelligence you could kill us all with hysterical and purposeful poetry

When monkeys are around, Zebra's are only brown, due to all the poop flinging. THAT's why monkeys are so cool, plus you can teach 'em to do cool stuff, like stealing people's wigs, Slapping small children, and stealing the entire contents of fort knox, gold bar by gold bar, MWA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! ...... stuff like that.

THIRSTY MERC LYRICS

"I Wish Somebody Would Build A Bridge (So I Can Get Over Myself)"

Munching on a ham and cheese sando in the morning on Friday
Cruising down the Pacific Highway
Thinking 'bout the day ahead

I paid the rent cheque, got my registration and phone bill
If those two don't overthrow me the dogs will
But heck at least I know the taste of bread

Why do I seem to spend my whole damn life chasing paper?
I'm like an actor turned singer turned waiter
I'll wait around until I meet with my maker
Then I'll sign up for AA or something

I just wish there was some other way to get myself somewhere
This little strip of earth and all that I've done there
I'm like a bull-ant on the leg of a sunchair
Under a magnifying glass

I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm wasting my time

I take a phonecall on the mobile while I'm checking the meter
One sec I need to turn up that little speaker
It's getting noisy in this little town

We're like America we love to make a ho-har out of jackshit
I never ever really seemed to fit
But now I'm stuck so deep in all of this

Come to think of it I might as well be travelling backwards
It's been an hour and I'm only in Chatswood
I hate the way that I'm becoming a product
Go pick me up for $24.95

I'm on sale and it's retail in the world of deception
You can treat a man if he can't get erections
Is there a pill for my lack of direction?
Thanks mate, I'll have a pack of those

I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm wasting my time
I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm losing my mind

It's all good I got a broom and a cheap persian rug now
I can sweep the whole thing outta my sight now
Outta sight, outta mind

I'll keep on going until I'm pushing 30 or 40
And as long as I don't do something naughty
I love my wife, what a life

She comes home to find me spread on the floor from blood poisoning
I popped a whole lot of pills and I'm shaking
And there's a needle sticking out of my arm, I ain't faking I'm zoning in and zoning out

You wanna help me, don't call me an ambulance honey
Just get a silver service cab this is funny
Just one passenger please, going up my own ass
You take credit card? Fuck this!

I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm wasting my time
I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm losing my mind

I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm wasting my time
I'm wasting my life
I wish somebody would build a bridge
So I could get over myself
On my own I'm losing my mind

#1} A delightful Song called "Free" by a Delightful Child Named "Natalia Kills"

Apparently "Free" is a new Hep term for "Broke"; and when you say that you "Rocked It"; That means you "Bought It".

Anyway, the song is rather silly--about high fashion and compulsive shopping.....

But the Rousing Refrain of "I'm Free" starts whole other chains of associations in my mind. Besides which, Miss Kills is very easy on my eyes.

#2} "Atlas" by Battles--I just discovered Mathrock.

#3} "The Living Bubba" by "Drive-By Truckers". I just realized drinking in those sour, Bluesy Notes, that I'm a Redneck.

I always thought that because I didn't care for Beer, and hated Country Music, that I was something else.....

But Blood will tell. I'm a throwback, and far more a Redneck than my Dear Departed Father, or either of my Grandfathers.

Meatloaf; Janis Joplin; Stevie Nicks and Jerry Lee Lewis.

I also like Celtic; Classical and Old Time Blues--but I don't know much of it by name. I just turn on the Radio, or PBS and Graze on what's there.

Old Time Gospel--But none of that Cheesy "Praise and Worship" Music.
