Hello... it's been a long time...

...I hope you're still here (those of you who know me).

I've been busy, and not writing 'poems', nor reading much poetry at all. That which I have has been passingly via Twitter (Gardenhead is the only one I see on there, unless the rest of you are in disguise. Anyone else on there? I'm @iPithom).

Anyway, I think it may be a year before I'm writing poetry again properly. I am writing, but it is related to my Pithom work, the rest which will hopefully materialise in a few years time as a novel. We'll see. For the time being I've published some of it on Kindle here: www.pithom.co.uk

That, selfishly is the reason for my returning here, as I would like to share the produce of something that started life on the Poetry Forum. It's an experimental piece of work which hasn't found much favour on my blog where it is available for free, so I don't know if it's any good at all. I enjoyed working on it however... so...

Ben, the poetry bug is slowly making a comeback. I have been writing, but not quite poetry... some sort of prose I guess. The bug won't be well and truly back however until I've the mind to read it as well as write it.

Thanks for the warm welcome bastet, as always. Glad to see you're still here.

I've added to my Kindle publishing with 'I'm not a poet... I just write like one.' A collection of 95 poems, most of which began life in here. I've removed the ones included in the collection from the forum, because obviously I'd like to encourage the purchasing of the book. However, they will make a return sometime in the future.

I revised them all and they were tweaked a little before I published them, so they're somewhat new-ish I guess.

Anyway, if you do happen to buy it I'd be appreciative of a review on Amazon as well, or alternatively a comment about my work on my blog would be amazing!
