17?! good grief... you could like open a petting zoo with all the animals you have haha. we used to have 7 chickens, until the fox came hunting one night. now we only have two.

We've lost a few to hawks. In fact one took two chicks and killed the momma hen. :( I ended up with so many when one hen hatched 11 chicks in my barn. There were more but they didn't hatch out. Lots of good eating eggs now. :)
