for those of you that haven't heard yet John Lennon's album, The Plastic Ono Band, is coming out on DVD! I think it's his best solo work. It has interviews with the former band members Ringo, Yoko, and Klaus Voorman, a lot of old footage and song analyses. It's a must for all Lennon fans. I love Lennon and agree that the Plastic Ono Band album is a masterpiece, a supreme example of art art the artist himself. What did some wag say? The Beatles are dying in the wrong order.

John certainly was one of the best so many people have covered his music and I am of the firm belief if it wasn't for Lennon the Beatles would never have existed contray to Macarnty's views ..Lennons music is universal and many have covered his words from Punk rock bands to full blown orchestra's even classic versions have been released ...

Also, for Victorians, there is a Lennon photo exhibition in Ballarat until April that looks especially interesting.
