American music and LA specifically is now officially back from the dead and relevant again. And all it took was some girls with guitars and some guys with beats and mics. There are powerful permatanned high trouser wearing dr evil wannabes who as I type are a seething mess, wondering just how on earth have DIY youth movements managed to sneak through the gaps again, they were supposed to put a stop to all that jazz after arctic monkeys and grime, when they successfully attempted to put a worldwide ban on originality. They never counted on the unstoppable forces of creativity busting apart all the filter systems in place, and sure Tyler and Theresa will be very rich and good on em they desrve it, theyve conned no-one, and the people have bought into them fully knowing whats on offer. Its amazing really when you look back, as it was supposed to be Obamaman and Mrs Clinton who saved the world hmmmm, but heyho maybe Earl Sweatshirt and Jenny Lee Lindberg get it together...wow just wow.
