Hello,

It's been a while since I've been to an on-line poetry site, but the needs of an open university course I am working through has thrown me back into this world for a while, so here I am!

I am a writer of children's and adults literature, a play/script writer and very occasional poet. I used to do a lot more poetry a few years ago, but it went by the way-side while other things took over. Now I'm studying creative writing with the OU, it's thrown me back into poetry for some sections, which I am enjoying along with everything else!

Anyway, I want to get cracking with a series of dream related poems so I'll say goodbye now.

Goodbye now.

Garry

How are you finding studying with the OU? I did my computer studies with them, I'm often tempted by their writing courses, but the computer courses were quite solitary just a few meet up during the whole course.

However rather more importantly welcome to the forum Garry.

Thanks for your welcome everyone.

Ben - I find the OU brilliant for the creative writing course I am doing. It is quite solitary, we only meet twice on the year, but if you want there is an online forum much like this one to share ideas and chat, which a lot of people use. I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to put some formal training behind their writing if they have never really done so before but enjoy the process.

Looking forward to reading more poems on this site and will try my best to carry on with it even when the OU course is done!

Regards

Garry
