Well this is totally random...but am bored..and have never used this forum sooo...

here's my story

I walked down to the doctors office to pick up my mum and noticed that my foot began to get very sore on top..I managed to get home and after removing shoe and sock, my eyes were met with the sight of a gigantic purple bruise right above my big toe bones!
But for the life of me I can't remember having hit my foot on anything...
the bruise wasn't there this morning that's for sure!

Anyways...told you it was random!
So now I am hobbling around, cause it really hurts and seems to react to the slightest touch!

So do you have new shoes? Did you lace them a little too tight?

It sounds like something that might be the result of a repetitive stress injury.

perhaps you tied them too tightly..though it's on the big toe...was anything gently crushing the toe at any time of the day?..
meh...just pressure it and massage the area and blood will flow through better and heal it sooner than you can learn the whole French language. :D

But that's just it, these are my good ole comfy running shoes, that I've had for quite a few years! I think I would have noticed before I started walking as I step with out shoes and i can feel it....:depressed: can't even get socks on, and it is freezing in my house....oh well...one of those weird body phenomenons!

massage it, pressure it and just bite your teeth in pain while it numbs out etc. Then it'll be better. :D
That or have a bath..

*grin* If it makes you feel any better I used to get mystery bruises all the time. I'd come home from work, take a shower, and find a bruise I'd never seen before. Of course it was a manual labor job so I never thought anything of it. All you can do is grin and bear it.
