Passing through...

...and thought I'd say hello! Posted a piece I'd been working on for a while this morning... it's the only thing I've been writing for months, but is nothing but a bunch of abstracts on Pithom, and became too much of a chore. I've lost interest in writing and reading poetry (not frustrated by this at all)... and don't expect to be writing anything for quite a while. Feels like a closed episode in in the story of my life (so far)... I'm just reading another book at the moment. Might pick it up again in a few years time when the heart gets back into it.

Anyway, I hope that you're all well. Thanks for the New Years well wishing, and hope yours went well (is going well)

Glad to see you latest posting and will be back to re-read it properly. I think the waning of interest in poetry is quite natural or at least for me, it is always there but I go through times when I write a lot and times when I write nothing, so don't be surprised if it sneaks up on you later on :)

Thanks you two. I've been through different creative phases for many years. I used to pencil draw, then pastel crayons, then rap, and make music, then poetry... trouble is, when I've stopped doing something I've never gone back to it fully satisfied, and it's felt completely alien to me. We'll see...

Thank you both. I quite happy not to be writing actually smorz... it did take up a lot of my time, and I've got so much going on at the moment, I need all the time I can get. Even reading is a task. I only read commuting to work now (between dozes on the tube). I've completely exhausted myself today though (mentally/physically), so I might get a little read on in a bit. Need to start cooking dinner in a minute though.

Well, I hope you both don't suffer too much in the drought. May you been writing soon!
