It happens when I eject it from my laptop, the 'do not disconnect' screen just freezes. I have to then let the battery run down, what a joke :bash:

I think I've found a way of preventing it happening anyway. Just as I eject it I keep pressing menu as quick as possible so it doesn't get chance to freeze. I've only tried it once though but it did work.

Has this happened to anyone else?

That has never ever happened to me before.. never heard of it either. Maybe it's corrupted? I'd try to reinstall the software on it and see what happens. Out of curiousity, what sort of iPod do you have?

Get something else than ipod :D

Costs 50% less and works 50% better :D

Just update you software and everything should work properly. My lost ipod froze every now and i got very annoyed by it so I went to apple about it.

You could just plug your ipod in and it will un freeze. get a wall charger or a car charger or something of the sort and your problem will be solved too...

Mine crashes like that every now and then, try holding down the menu and play buttons at the same time for a few seconds next time it does it - it should force a reset and get it working again without any problems
