There isn't really a whole lot to say, I guess. I'm a New Englander, but I'm influenced as much by Baudelaire as Frost. I suppose that's not uncommon, though.

One piece of good news, though: I've already gotten over my irritating, angsty phase, so you won't be burdened with that. Lucky you. 'Course, it'll still be mostly ostentatiously packaged dross, but hey, nobody's perfect. In truth, I jest: I'll only post a poem if I think that it's already pretty good. Feel free to contradict me.

And finally, a caveat: I'm very critical. My goal is the perfection of art, not catharsis or high self-esteem. That stuff can come after you can piece together iambic pentameter. Good luck with that.

But what the heck am I doing posting this? If we weren't narcissists, we wouldn't be here. So don't worry about me; you go back to doing your thing.
