school memories?

Since most people have only recently gone back to school, I thought it would be very topical if i started a thread where people write down their favourite school memories. they can be anything..

i will start us off with one of mine..

one day in science, this guy in my class made the tap loose and turned the tap thingy so much that the tap broke and water got EVERYWHERE! everyone got soaked and people dropped their books into the water. our teacher even found it funny. such a good day<33

Probably my best memories from school were the whole of the last two years. I've just got so many awesome things to mention...but i'll limit it to one!

I used to get on really well with my whole class in Religious Studies and we used to laugh and joke all the time, there was a guy with a guitar and me and my friend used to sing green day songs and he'd do the music... and then there was that time i brought the ann summers magazine in.....I wonder how much time we actually spent learning in that class. The teacher was awesome as well.

It's weird though...I HATED school.

ah well..for secondary school from 10 to 16 i went to an all girls school..the teachers,all but one ,were female..over 90,wore support stockings and glasses and all possessed tight perms and no humour.
our headmistress was over 119 and wore a cap and gown and used to "fly" down the corridors-gown billowing behind,down which we were only allowed to walk in single file on the left hand side..stairs also followed this rule!
she had a prosthetic arm..unusual at the time and earnt her a few unfriendly nicknames.
not sure i really remember any funny events from school..it wasnt a place that encouraged fun! lol!

wow, sounds intense! My grandma always used to tell me stories of when she was at school. She went to a convent school and it was very strict as well. My grandma nearly got expelled once for wondering where babies come from. She also used to take 2 little white mice into school under her blouse and hide them in her desk.... can you imagine! hahaha it makes me laugh everytime i think about it.

Bastet - that sounds like a stereotypical all girls school:) I went to one from year 2 to December year 7 and it was much more relaxed. it must have been really strict there.

Lauren - lol about religious studies. Did a guy actually bring his guitar to class?omg - imagine opening your grandmothers desk and finding two mice just there.. I would probably run screaming!
