Hi folks thought id join you here....
Looking forward to meeting you all...
im a keen poet and writer over 20 years.
Am currentley working on sitcom and have over 120 pieces of poetry completed in my portfolio...
heres a sample of my works a topical poem i had published several years back re global warming.. enjoy!
A Worrying Sign
Apparently in the year 2027
All the polar bears will be in heaven,
Scientist got the timing all wrong
Global warming’s now the ice caps are gone.
Saying half of Africa underwater
No more the rock of Gibralter,
Goodbye Majjorca goodbye Tenerife
Shame I cant even lay a sympathy reef.
Oh London’s to be the new seaside town
Sorry Kent Ye gonna drown,
At least I will not have to visit you
Unless im deep sea diving too.
So as we enjoy our economic boom
(and the poor polar bears are cast in gloom)
Our future grandchildren walking in cyber zoos
All of nature were gonna lose
Yet a red strawberry in Feb
Makes ITVs headline news….
