So, I'm about to be a senior, and I really need to start looking at colleges and such. I've been contemplating what to major in, and right now I'm stuck between Psychology and Philosophy. I was wondering if anyone here had any information on how hard it is to double major. Is it twice as much work, or since the majors are somewhat related, would it be similar to having just one major? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Also, if you know of any colleges that are good for the two fields? Nothing too expensive though, I don't know how much I'll get for scholarships, and my family hasn't much money.

I'm also going to be a senior. I'm not thinking of double major - I already know I want to major in creative writing/english. Still, I've been working on my college apps for a while - I guess that's what happens when you're a middle class suburban Jew.

I think most good or large colleges are good for a double major.

What colleges are you thinking of applying to?

I won't offer advise on this cause I really don't know much about double majoring. I have heard that it is hard but hey, if someone can do it why not you? You also need to look at location to family when thinking about college. Are you ok with attending a school that is half way across the nation from your family? If not then your choices are limited to those around you. Lots of things to be considered for college. I can't give you the answers because they differ with each person. I wish you the best in your search to better your future. ^_^

I'd go to unigo.com and look around.
