I didn't know ware to put this, so if needed you can move or delete this thread.

I hate people. I really do, I hate them. Their only good for getting me booze and selling drugs. Monday a situation came up that made me want to go home, get high, and just sit thinking.

So yesterday I'm sitting at lunch, just chilling not really eating, when I'm approached by about 4 or 5 kids. They asked me "so I heard you wrote poems, mind ifwe share some." I gave them the benifit of the doubt and pulled out my little book from my pocket. The leader o the group went first and the poem was about you typical "life is a spiral blah blah" I tiled him it was okay and need more feeling and emblishment. I read mine witch was about drinking and driving to go and get a fix, I didn't tell him that but itsjot hard to figure out. He tells me "that was shit. I don't know how anyone can even write that shit!"

I than got up and left, didn't even say a word. I just wanted to get high then and their. I didnt care he didn't like it, but to be so blunt is rude. But I have concluded that is was a 'joke' to them because they all laughed when I left, plus their the prick in class who think their so great because their Iq is slightly higher than a trees.

Since than I can't write, it's just upsetting. Well that all. I figured I tell you guys because, I don't have any willing ears to listen. That my story, that why I hate people.

Oh dear Navajo, please do not judge all people on a few ignorant people... I had some poems bagged, when I was very young and didn't write anything for six years. This put a big hole in my heart. Don't hate people... Just use the experience to entice you to write more. Turn your anger into passion and write the best darn work you have ever written And remember one thing. I am one person who appreciates all poetry... Even my 12 year old son's. So do not despair. Your work is good and this post you have written has not fallen on deaf ears.
Take care... Oh and from a mother's perspective... Steer clear of the drugs. (Sorry I'm a mum, can't help but care)

Kids ARE terrible, Navajo, I don't blame you for hating them. Even their parents often do when they start deteriorating. The good news is: you don't stay a kid for ever, nor do the others. Usually there is some improvement in store along the passage of time. Parents even become reconciled with their offspring.

The first and most important thing is don't let them stop you writing it isn't worth it. Some people can be extremely unpleasant, unfortunately they are the people whose words cut the most, probably because they are so unpleasant. Kids are worse than adults and especially if they are in a crowd. Hating people and being put down by people is nothing new a famous poet Alexander Pope had the same issues.

"From the age of 12, he suffered numerous health problems, such as Pott's disease (a form of tuberculosis that affects the bone) which deformed his body and stunted his growth, leaving him with a severe hunchback. His tuberculosis infection caused other health problems including respiratory difficulties, high fevers, inflamed eyes, and abdominal pain.[2] He never grew beyond 1.37 m (4 ft 6 in) tall. Pope was already removed from society because he was Catholic; his poor health only alienated him further."

He lived 300 years ago, but his way of coping was to write, he took the people he despised and wrote about them in such a way that can still read what he thought about them. Use your writing to express this, maybe write a poem 10 reasons why I hate people, or more then 10 if you have enough. You don't need to show these poems to others if you want but poetry can be a great way to vent your feels and after venting may help clear your mind to write something you want to write about.

There will always be nasty people with cutting words, but they are the minority, unfortunately they also have the biggest mouths especially when they are in crowds. Hate them if you want, particularly hate the way they act, people do change as they grow up and some people I hated at school became good friends later on when they changed, but don't hate everyone, there are many people out there who are wonderful, they are often the quieter people who don't get so noticed.

Above all don't stop writing.

There are jerks in every corner of the world back when I was at school and in my twenties. however with job and children I've come to met trillions of people that are very nice and very respectful. Very rarely have I met one in real life, the jerks have holed themselves on the net and that's where you'll find them most of the time!!

Don't be dejected cos of the few, I'm sure none of us would be here if we had and were.

Write on.
