Hi to all. I have just googled my way here and you deserve to know a bit about me.

I am Rusty Klichowicz. I have recently had bad things happen to me but I shan't dwell on those. I was divorced and simultaneously a business collapsed and I lost just about everything. I lived (23 years) in Hermanus, SouthAfrican small town and recently moved to Cape Town to kick start my life again. I found work running a music school and am slowly finding my feet.

I have always been creative and poetry is one of those things that I find I keep returning to. However, I have not placed much importance on these poems as they have always been just something to do. A friend read them and enthused so I have gone back to them and started writing in earnest. Poets that have moved me have been the likes of Gerald Manley Hopkins and Dylan Thomas - poetry that wants to be spoken aloud and I suppose that mine follows the same trend.

Greetings to you all. I hope to share many more with you.

Hi there, Rusty. I am sorry to hear about what happened to you. However, running a music school sounds like a wonderful job to me; personally, I would love it. I look forward to reading your work, and look forward to see you around the forum too.

Welcome, it's good to see you here. I must say I have liked your initial contributions.

I must agree with you on Gerard Hopkins as his style has influenced a few of my poems. His use of light alliteration, conbined with varying rhyme schemes makes for interesting reading.
