Hi everyone,

I read some of your poems and love them, I was wondering what your rules/copyright are to using your poems?

I was wondering if you all used the www.creativecommons.org copyright or if you wanted to just keep it all here.

I would always ask first but do not wish to use anyone and disrespect this forum and its members without asking.

I would also give full and total credit for the work to the writers and any links they may have.

I also give the rights for anyone to use and display any of my own work to my licence used on CC which is this LINK (http://creativecommons.org/)

Its just a question and I do not wish to offend anyone, I know how some people can get with there personal work which is why I am asking:D

Well I do not mind if someone wants to use my work for personal non-comercial, non-profit use as long as proper cridit is given. If one wanted to post my work on a website, or just print it out for themselves, or anything of that sort, then that is alright with me.

If any of my work is used I would like to be notified as to the particular work, the site, and the purpose of use. I reserve the right to deny any of my work for use if I should disapprove of the purpose it is put to. If I do give permission to use any of my work I request that I be given proper credit for the work.

*End technical mode*

All that being said, there are few reasons I would deny my work being used. :)

although not expecting the poems in question to be mine,

posting of a poem on a forum or a website automatically registers the poem as your poem, to which date stamps the poem, the copywriter is you being able to prove the poem belongs to you not Plagiarised, all my work is displayed on a website thus claiming copywriter if I should find my work used for commercial gain,

with respects permission for use would have to be credited and approved before use, I have given consent before under reasonable requests and have had one poem accepted for publishing in a book

on another point who would want to use my poems is beyond me anyway , same as I have about 70 poems and currently compiling them into a book for publishing via vanity press, this is going to be done for pure personal reasons and not material gain ( haha it enables me to tick the box I did that lmao)

I do not mind if people show my work... so long as they don't use it to make money, or claim it as their own.. really, its common sense. But preferrably, tell me first. =)

I wouldn't mind as long as I'm notified and given credit.
